God! You're kidding, right? Is that really a bad sign??? Although I'm not in the vicinity, I'm about 55 miles away, I'm concerned about this, of course.

Well, two mild to medium quakes coming from the same blind fault that's just north of Northridge, only one week apart doesn't sound good to me. I'm not a seismologist, but I play one on tv...

But! They occurred right next to each other in the same blind fault. On the XY GPS grid they were 1.3 miles apart, and on the Z-depth GPS grid, they were 0.2km apart.

Not a good sign. And I am an optimist!
oh, lovely!

Info for event ci14313828 (broken link)

What does it mean: "location quality: good"? Maybe it's not so bad after all....

Just hoping.

It was an aftershock. And I did feel it. Very quick, fortunately.

There was something good... it was only a 3.5 instead of a 6.5!

I'm thinking only for the future, 'cause Jack said smthg about not being good to have 2 quakes so close to each other (in time and space).

Well, it can be aftershocks, but "aftershocks" are a disputed phenomena in the geology community. It can mean nothing. I wouldn't get any more or less upset about earthquakes than you normally do. We do live in an earthquake zone after all.
