Seems like the conservatives of California are getting all ferklempt and just can't take any more of the crazy things that liberals do like good health care and comprehensive immigration reform so they've decided they want to bolt and make their own state, the state of South California which will be made up of Orange county (of course!) and several other southern California counties.

If it happened, the dynamic between the IE / Orange County / SD and the Basin / nearby coastal areas may come to resemble the dynamic between Southern New Hampshire and Boston.
