Default I'm a University student and plan on moving to Los Angeles area, best places to live.

I currently live in Iowa and it's always been a dream of mine to live in California ever since visiting there.
Ultimately I would either like to live in the San Francisco Bay area or more likely the Los Angeles area.

I will be visiting all the area come mid August. Could any of you offer advice on places I should visit or ideas you can think of to make my visit more rewarding on deciding where I should ultimately live?

thanks,

Andrew

Move where you find a job, unless you have money and don't need to start your career right away. It's hard to give any more advice than that without knowing more about you.

Reading other relocation threads (there are plenty) will give you a better idea and will also help you ask more specific questions.

I have money and don't need to start my career again.

I think what I'm looking for is the areas to visit where I can lounge and enjoy the whole california scene in the true sense.

Really I think I just need to do some digging on my own.
