What do you mean not even close? You mean not nearly as nice as Valley Glen? Valley Glen looks too far for me from the Westside/Hollywood.

I can prove that I am not trolling. I will post receipts of my acting classes when I get home. They are all charged on my bank card. I also have e-mail confirmations too. I will post screenshots when I get home. You wait and see. Winding freeways I can't prove but I have always had a phobia of driving. I will post screenshots of my credit catd receipts when I get home.

What do you mean by long drives?

You know what, I was going to go to a yoga class but now that I read this, I will drive home just to post screenshots to prove that I am not a troll even though I'm close to my yoga place.

I will be home around 10 pm and prove I am not troll. I can also prove that I live in trabuco canyon if u think I am a troll. Want to see a copy of my lease? I can take a photo and block my name. Watch out who you are calling a troll.

What I resent most is being called a troll. I have never misrepresented or lied about anything. I admit that I am combative online and not easy to get along with and I do love attention. However, I never MISREPRESENTED about acting classes, being afraid of freeways or hating Lake Forest or moving to L.A.

To tell you the truth, many people on other forums on which I post also seem to think I am a troll. I guess my personality is so "out there" that no one could believe that I am real. I will post more proof as necessary.

So you claim that I lied about my acting classes right? One of the classes I am taking right now is at Second City in Hollywood. Here is my student card for THIS TERM. It's held up next to the City Data forum. Do you still think I am lying?

I am not a troll but I probably am crazy because I drove home just to prove to you that I am not a troll. Yes I care that much about what strangers on the internet think of me and I get infuriated at being thought of as a troll.

I took a photo of my lease too, to prove that I live in Lake Forest, but it will take some time to censor out my legal name and private info.

What else would you like for me to post that I am not a troll? I have no way of proving that I'm moving to L.A but it's true.

I can also post a copy of my paycheck stub (with my name blocked out) with a Lake Forest address with City Data in the background.. Would that suffice for you?

What else would you like me to post to prove that I'm not a troll? The other two acting classes I took in L.A are commercial workshops and I paid for Paypal for one of the classes so I can't show my bank statement.

* I just send more info to Johng72 to prove my identity (lease agreement with my name blocked out) to prove I am a real person and that I do live where I stated I lived in all my older posts. I don't want to post it on here but he has it. Being called a troll really fires me up.

The ad doesn't mention square footage or parking so you're probably right; probably no parking. Parking is a must for me.

Coldwater Canyon near the 101 is the best choice, as others have mentioned. Always go visit places in person, take note of how many junked cars might be sitting around gathering dust, how well maintained (or not!) the exterior of the building is, and ask about bugs ("How often do you exterminate here?" is a nice way of finding out if they have a roach or ant problem!). If you're lucky enough to encounter a tenant who is willing to talk without the manager around, try to get their input. Many people who have lived in a building for a long time only stay because their unit is under rent control.

If you can, avoid rent control and Section 8 (two things that often go hand in hand, it seems!).

Good luck; in my opinion, most landlords in L.A. are awful. I looked for four months off and on before I found a good apartment for a reasonable price!
