Garden Grove I think it would fit the best. It's 37% Hispanic and Asian each, and 23% White. Not perfect, but close enough. It also describes my census tract pretty well.

I like how all those city characterizations are relatively near to each other, especially Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana (all next to each other) with Long Beach just over the OC line.

What if I make a really tight fist when I point? That's 2 fingers to the guy in front of me and 3 to the guy on my right.

They snicker at you. It's so weird. No. I'm not dreaming or paranoid or crazy. I've lived here 8 years now. And when I visit other cities and from the other cities I've lived in, I never get that vibe like I get from here. It's discusting. I'm always polite. And I just don't get it...
You must have stumbled into a hell hole. I'm not saying your experiences aren't true, they may very well be. My point is it could be the area you are in. The only thing I can really agree on is the better service for fellow Hispanics which I see on a daily basis but I wouldn't really call that racism in itself although some may agree. Where I live (in the San Diego not LA area), Mexicans and Asians seem rather close at times. There's even a bakery near me that a "Chinese and Mexican Bakery". Basically what I'm saying is, I don't think Hispanics are racist against Asians as a whole. I think you may have found a bad pocket. As a black male I have been mistreated by Asians and Hispanics the most but also by whites and fellow blacks. Some people just suck.

Hmm. I did not know there were still that many White people in Garden Grove. I probably would've thought of Northridge before I'd have thought of Garden Grove, actually. I was thinking the Asian city could be Anaheim, but all the White people (and a lot of the Asians) live in the separate Anaheim Hills area.

Good observation on the geography, too. Is it a coincidence that that area happens to be the approximate geographic epicenter of the LA-OC-SD cultural zone?

I won't attempt to delve into the Mexican psyche; however, the experiences of Korean-Mexicans (aka "Henequen") is somewhat enlightening...

Well, if you say korean business you usually think like a storefront in koreatown, but when you say mexican business, you usually think some dude selling fruit on the freeway offramp

"And despite what you think, my life is fine Nothing some person over the internet is going to change that.

I pretty much answered your question. Sounds like you have a lot of deep seated, insecurity issues that you need to hash out yourself.

You try to come off like one of those Asian girls who thinks they're White, and tries everything as possible to think they are White, but know deep down inside that they aren't. Fact of the matter is in the real world, it really doesn't matter anymore. Get over yourself. No one is after you. No one is out to get you but yourself. Be comfortable with who you are first before you attack others."

Lifeshadower - In no way do I think I'm White. In no way I'm Jackie or a troll LOL. And I am comfortable with who I am. The question I originally posted has spiraled into a whole other thing for the most part... what you going to do... However my friend, you sound like you have serious "tag", or "racial" issues yourself.... God Bless.

This is going to sound very blunt but all your latino friends accept you because they think you have latin blood pumping though your veins because your filipino. According to what I've heard other mexicans say. To answer your counter question, how would anyone like any group of people who are blatently rude to them. In my case it's Mexicans. I've noticed it here like crazy. This has been MY personal experience. YOUR experience in LA sounds a lot more open and accepted than my experience here has been. No, I don't go around treating mexicans like crap. I don't treat anyone rudely. I posted this question to see if other asian americans who live in LA have had racial issues with hispanics as I certainly have.
Nicole:

I can't believe you are so ignorant. Filipinos are from South East Asia so they are asians. I'm also asian and am probably much older than you're and I have never experienced discrimination the mexicans.

Gentoo- My husband and I are in the SFV primarily for work. He isn't in love with the valley anymore than I am. We have lived in mid to west valley all in well established neighborhoods. The thing with the valley unfortunately is it's pretty much a melting pot of everything with the hottest summers and overall ugliness (IMO) so no matter where you live here unless you consider Calabasas part of the valley (actually technically it is...) there is no real "segregation" in the valley. There are a very small community of filipinos in Panorama City, and viets in Reseda. But thats pretty much it. Yes, the valley is obviously not my favorite place to be. Even living So. of Blvd you're still around it all.
