Hi all i just found this topic and this forum, and well i have to say donjuan is right about 1 thing Compton, Watts are very dangerous places, but you really dont have a clue about London or other Cities in England. I live around London and well its horrific the things you see and hear, the thing is our country is Fukd up, ull find that even though youths arentgang members they still dont give a damn about society. Also in 2002 it was said you are 6 times more lilely to get mugged/ attacked in London than you are in New York. Yer New York has gotten alot better since there is so much police everywhere patrolling things. That was in 2002, alot has changed in those years in London, Gun Crime has got WAY higher, GBH has got alot higher and overall crime has risen quite considerably. I know i wasnt talking Bout LA there but as you know New York is a dangerous city as well.
Even in suburban towns around London there is so much muggings and abbuse people receive. We have "CHAVS" in this country and they run riot across our streets, im not saying all chavs are bad, but they have alot to do with our crime. Gangs in London and other cities are going to get more and more violent its the way things are going, im observing this from a youth perspective. I am a youth and i find what is going on terrible. Multiple times ive nearly been mugged walking to my local town, i live in a nice part around london and you still get lots of problems with gangs.
This is what people think when they hear about about England oh tea and crumpets with the queen, buckingham palace and all that rubbish. England is not at all like that, it is a place of 3 classes Lower, Middle and Upper Classes which vary greatly. Binge Drinking which causes yobish behaviour, gangs, football(what a great game luv it, (soccer) im chattin bout. Cor im makin this place seem real dangerous, but the truth is its dangerous, there are also many good points to the country.
Since we cant go around the "dangerous parts of our city taking snapshots like we a tourist or we will get hurt or even killed", they think "who the hell is dis comin to our estate lets jak im". Ill show you a few pictures i found.

thanks for showing me. but i dont know what u was trying to prove by showing me that ferrier estate bcuz that looks nice and so did those last couple of building pics. the manchester rap video thing looks like the ghetto but i get the feeling that its not real. like i know its real crime there but c'mon those are lil kids trying to act tough. like those lil light skinned girls like really who is going to be scared of them. and the guys that are rapping dont seem too real. its like they can pass for a good guy. but when i go to LA and see those dudes they look evil and look like real killers. im not saying london seems soft but i guess u have to see it to believe it but that video it did seem like its rough over there but not on the compton and watts or LA in general level. lol just look at this video and u dont want to be around there. look how the guys look they all look like killers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Always wen i see South Central movies and stuff the houses there look huge compared to the average house here where we are attached to another bunch of houses. hey i seen that hood 2 hood documentry also. harlem does look bad but u have to remember some people act like they are really hardcore in front of the cameras. Like if u was really raised around those places u can see thru who is being fake and who is being real. but there is real killers everywhere. Are you from london? but i know there is some bad parts of london bcuz alot of New York rappers be getting robbed out there. hey did u see the footage of The game and some dudes from watts and compton with him and he was in the building with london rappers and they was all cool at first but game walked past them and dissed them then later game wanted the footage but the london dudes was acting hard then thats when games friends got mad and chased the london gang rappers down the street. game called his boys back and they left but u can hear them running and the LA dudes being ghetto

Im from san bernardino CA which is a very dangerous place too. We get the LA gangs moving into SB and have to group up. But here is a rap video that was shot down the street from my high school in Rialto, CA
I love Poway. But it does depend on your neighborhood. There are beautiful neighborhoods, and just so-so neighborhoods. If you think to buy, then probably plan to spend 600k for something above average.....if that's do-able, then Poway is for you! Otherwise, you'd probably get more for your money closer to San Diego, like in the newer east village downtown, for condos etc.
