I wouldn't trust that survey. It had Denver ranked #1 from 2004-2006

Now granted, I didn't live in Cow-town from 2004-2006, but Colorado is a guys state. The girls there were mostly not as appealing as they are in SoCal where they must take care of themselves. Ha! Also, I couldn't seem to find what there criteria is/was. I can imagine a line of guys in Denver standing around with their... well, anyway, I just wouldn't classify it that way.

It's also pretty nebulous in the fact that, say, Seattle for instance, had a LOT of freaky women of whom I would probably never date.

Sure, there's lots of singles, but are they what each individual finds "quality" singles. Hahaha!

I wanna see their criteria. "Single" doesn't count as a number generator IMO.

I agree. They also have Buffalo in there? Why? It is as though they just added up the numbers of single people, did a restaurant/club/etc pop density check and declared these places great to go to.

Yeah! What are the age brackets? I bet some Florida retirement cities (Hollywood FL) would rank up there!!!

JackSparrow, Florida does have some nice places for singles. Mostly around the college towns like Gainesville, Tallahassee, etc. Places where there are a lot of young people opposed to most of South Florida that is crawling with the living dead. But I always love to hear about polls. Because where do they get the people from? I do not think I have ever participated in or have asked to participate in a poll.

I was just making a point that Florida is a great example of where there's TONS of singles, and probably most that are 'single' wouldn't fit into MY criteria as eligible!

Alaska has a huge single population as well. They're mostly men. heh.

Southern Cal. has one of the worst imbalances of males to females in the US for a heterosexual male. I'd hate to imagine what the other cities on there are like.

OTOH, for a hetero woman or for a gay male, L.A.'s a great place due to the overabundance of males. But for a single hetero guy,it's more like Alaska.

I disagree. Stats? My findings are the exact opposite, but then, I'll speak from personal pimping experience.

Again, I'd be curious to see the numbers. I have more girlfriends and a greater pool of booty calls here in SoCal than I have had in the three other states where I lived. And they are definitely higher quality women as well (appearance, I can't speak for how shallow they are, because with women, do you really ever know ) hahaha
