Default Apartment Complexes in Los Feliz

Can anyone let me know the names of some apartment buildings in Los Feliz, or how I can find an apartment there?

My husband and I love the area, and we are moving from NY in a month.

People keep telling us to "drive around and find an apartment" but that's very tricky when we are getting there right as we are hoping to move in.

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Its a private style neighborhood, not full of mega complexes.

There are actually quite a few complexes but they always seem overpriced.. At least the ones Ive seen on craigslist. Ive learned its too hard to look for a place from across the country. Maybe look into relocation hotels like extendedstay until u can explore.

You may want to consider padmapper.com. It pulls its listings from Craiglist, skims out most of the scams, and allows you to focus your search in a certain area by the criteria you identify.

Los Feliz Plaza (losfelizplaza.com) up on the Boulevard is costly but has short-term rentals and a convenient location near the 5 freeway. You can move into temporary digs and take some time to look around for something less expensive.

Rancho Los Feliz is a great one. Seems everyone has lived there at some point. It's safe, well-maintained, and close to everything. It's next to a golf course and once inside the complex you wouldn't know you are in the middle of L.A., but rather a resort. Close to I-5. Hope this helps!
