Thumbs up Study at the CSULB

Hi everyone

my Name is Matt. I am from Austria and I am going to study at the CSULB (Long Beach) for one semester. My girlfriend Melanie is travelling with me and we are searching for a place, where we can live together for a while. So if someone knew a good place to live, please tell me. But don't forget, we are both students and our daily budget to live is about 33$/night/room (2 persons). So if you are able to help me, or knew a nice family to live, send me a message.

See you
Matt

Is $33/night your budget for rent, or for all living expenses?

The school certainly has a housing office. Check with them, as well as the office dealing with foreign students. Those choices are so obvious I assume you've checked with them, but in case you haven't, I'd contact them right away.

That is just about $1000 a month so you should be able to find a 1 bedroom apt. that is within close proximity of the school (2-3mile radius) and within your price range. Would it be a nice place? Well, that would depend on your definition of "nice" and what you college kids smokin' these days!

Craig'sList is your friend, search on that site. You can also check Online Classifieds | PennySaverUSA. Long Beach is quite affordable compared to Orange County and even most parts of LA and it is relatively a nice please to live, especially around CSULB.
