I've had Sprint since 1997. Every year, the service and reception has gotten better and better. And with my plan, at $25.00 a month, I'm not switching. By the way, my cell phone is just that - a phone. No camera, etc.

Another vote for Verizon. I used to have AT&T and could not get reception in my loft downtown. None whatsoever. Plus, my calls would ALWAYS drop as I drove towards downtown through the Cuhuenga Pass. Since I moved to Verizon, no issues at all.

I've had 6 dropped calls with Verizon in 24 hours. I've also lost data connectivity throughout the day, missing important emails. Nice to hear many of you have had good service with VZW, but that has not been my experience thus far.

Is this all in the same location or throughout the city?

That's really bizarre. I can't recall ever having a call dropped with Verizon in my 5 years with them.

Within the same 3 cities - Pasadena, Burbank, and Glendale.

Bumping...

As much as I love my Verizon reception, I rarely use that phone anymore and rely almost exclusively on my work phone.

But am thinking of porting my number from Verizon to Virgin Mobile to save on costs, as I still do want a personal phone...

Anyone want to chime in with Virgin Mobile experiences?

Did I share I'm back with Sprint? Yea, it just works better for me, after all. Too bad, as Verizon has nicer phones, but reception is SO important.
