Default Santa Clarita; Gay Friendly!

It seems to me that Santa Clarita is getting more of a reputation of being gay-friendly. It is interesting because when I am around time I see very many gay couples. It seems to be on the rise, because I did not see this as much a couple of years ago. One other things I am curious about is why people in Santa Clarita are so racist? It seems as though unless you are white or hispanic you are looked down upon. It is no wonder it is called Klanta Clarita.

You mean it changed that much in 4 years? They voted heavily in favor of Prop 8, so I would beg to differ. One of the many reasons I do NOT live there and moved from there. I visit from time to time to see my parents and don't witness obvious gay happenings around that city. I will agree with the racism though, at least in terms of its history. They used to have KKK parades way back in the day. When I lived there in the late 90's, early 2000's, their local newspaper (The Signal) highlighted that on their front page.

55% is considered heavily in favor? Odds are North Hollywood area had a higher vote count in favor of prop 8 based on the high Hispanic demographics and the stats showed Hispanics and blacks supported prop 8 at a higher percentage than whites.
