We lived on Fir Ave, prior to my Dad doing well in his Construction business and we moved to Baldwin Hills. But my Cousins lived in Inglewood and I'm going to have to do some digging to remember the street. All I recall is a very nice neighborhood, tree-lined and they had a pool. Not much help, I know. I'll have to get back to ya.

Supposedly the 710 is supposed to eventually be completed up to the 10. That was instigated about the same time as the 105 project.

I was well away from the 105 as I was down in Lakewood. When I lived in Downey in the 80's I was a few blocks away from the 105. Sure glad I do not live there now. When I pass the 105 on any street it is a cluster ####.

I feel for those who lived in early 20th century houses all their lives in these corridors. However, sorry to say it, but anyone who bought anything built after say the early 1950s in most freeway corridors should have known they were buying in an eventual condemned zone. It's not unlike people who buy near airports, sporting facilities, farms etc then complain about the downsides. Buyer beware!

My street just missed it. 119th was obliterated, 118th spared.
