Can anyone suggest a good hotel to say at and is walking distance to the Staples Center. I'm going to See a Laker and Clippers game next month and I wanted to be able to just walk instead of park.

thanks

Depends how much you want to spend. Lots of options within walking distance. JW Mariott and Ritz Carlton are closest. Probably 15-20 hotels within 6 block walk

I like Hotel Figueroa, though I've never spent the night there (the bar is as far as I got). One of the few hotels downtown that is rather historic.

There are a ton of hotels DTLA, ranging from exceptional to seedy. We'll need a price per night range to help out.

I ended up booking a room at the Luxe City Center. It was fairly close and the prices were reasonable compared to the JW or the Ritz. Thanks !

i think that's the old holiday inn. i was going to recommend the holiday, but i heard it closed. apparently it has been renamed. just up the street from there is the standard hotel. go grab a drink at the roof top bar if you have some extra time, great views.

Or hop a quick cab to Perch if the Standard is being all pretentious with their door policy...
