Thinking I could take laurel canyon to the 101. How long would this take? Is it a reverse commute?

depending on where in hollywood you live, it would probably be fastest to take the 101 the entire way. also, while this is mostly a reverse commute, the 101 west can get backed up in the woodland hills area into thousand oaks. i would guess the drive would take 45-60 minutes each way,
