I moved from greenpoint, bklyn to san diego 2 yrs ago & am now looking to move up to LA.

The marine layer is the worst thing about the west coast imo.

Highland Park / Los Feliz - are these neighborhoods walkable? bookstore/grocery/rest/cafe/shops etc? What about marine layer?

Same questions for studio city, glendale, pasadena.

Anyone have suggestions about where I can get away from the marine layer/tule fog & have an walkable neighborhood?

(I work online so it doesn't matter where I live to do my job - currently paying $2,500 3BR house + pool in Carlsbad).
