Oh look, all the cars are American-made. That dates it if nothing else does.

I may be old but my eyesight's still pretty good. Ya musta missed the MG TC or TD cruisin' in the crowd. That might have been my father at the wheel. Last time I checked, they were British.

Nit picker. Anyway, MGs don't qualify as cars because they spend most of their time in the shop.

No, they played with Booker T. for Stax Records. They were too busy to shop.

Nice views of the Pasadena Freeway! The shot looking "up" the hill is where the 5 and the 110 meet today (this was shot pre-Interstate 5).

I'm trying to figure out the view of the "Adobe Street" offramp. It appears that is looking north-bound just north of the 4-level interchange. Likely this was at the "beginning" of the old Pasadena Freeway, where Figueroa turned into the freeway prior to the 4-Level being constructed...

Great video for freeway geeks like me. Thanks for finding!

This looked no earlier than 1958 based on the Chevy Bel Air that passed thru...

Adobe St now is a short cul-de-sac that stops short of the 110. According to my 1945 edition of the Renie Pocket Atlas of LA County (pre-freeway) Adobe St used to run from College on the S end to a little bit beyond Bernard on the N., so it would have crossed the freeway and very well could have been at least an offramp.

By the way, I had to break out the heavy artillery of magnifying devices AND shine a bright spotlight on the map book to come up with the above info. Getting old sucks sometimes.
