Hello. I will be moving to LA and I am a single female and a writer. I am self-employed, so I will have no way to prove my income, except by using bank statements. Can anyone suggest decent, safe spots and/or apartments/condos/townhomes in the West Hollywood area that accepts people from out of state who are self-employed. I know in other cities they are a stickler about "proving your income" and usually want you to use a paystub so they can see how much money is being taken out of your Social security. Thanks in advance

Smaller complexes may be your best bet. My kids moved to LA with no job after college and the whole processess was based on their credit check and having 1st/last rent.

Thank you Ceece ...my credit is not the greatest, but I have been in my current apartment for over a year in half..I would have the 1st and last months rent.
