Just curious for those who live in LA and work in the entertainment industry, what are some things you do to keep yourself grounded and in the 'real world' when everything seems so consumed by show business? This is a real concern of mine when considering a move to LA. I would be working in the ent. industry but fear that I won't have any ways of escaping the scene. Would love suggestions from anyone in similar situations, especially those with young children! Thank you!

I take a vacation as soon as I get off a job - preferably abroad. I also do a lot of bicycling. I don't live to work, I work to live.

my moms a writer for ent. magazines. im still in high school so i live with her. she spends a lot of time with me. she also works from home on her own computer. we go on many vacations. she goes shopping with friends a lot.
