Acting in CA? (Los Angeles, Malibu: school, universities, live in)

Hi,
I live in Orleans County, New York... I would like to have an agent for acting in Niagara County, and I would like to act somewhere in the Southern CA area like LA, or Malibu. I am 13. How does Schooling work? How does housing work? What is the Weather like? Any Laws that are different from New York? Can anyone help me out with this?

Doesn't everyone move to L.A. for the purpose of becoming an actor? You will certainly be one in a million.

Why would you go to Malibu to act? You should be in Los Angeles/Hollywood. A wannabe actor can't afford Malibu; you might move to Malibu if you ever make it big.

You will probably be waiting tables and attending auditions in between. Most wannabe actors don't go to universities, except only acting school.

he's 13. give him a break. an adult would know how to pursue an acting career in LA, but you can't blame a young teen for being ignorant. at least he knows that malibu is in southern california!
