Default Encino to Glendale?

Hi there.

I was wondering if there's anyone who drives the 101 from Encino to Glendale? My current commute from Valley Village is 20 mins (light traffic) to 45 mins (heavy traffic.) I'll be moving to Encino soon and DREAD the thought of trying to fight past the 405/101 , onto the congested 101, to the locked up 101/134 split--aggghhhh! I need to be at work by 9am, leave at 6pm. Anyone do this commute already? How long am I looking at?
Any other alternate routes to consider?

Thanks!!!

you might consider surface streets from encino to the 134E at vineland in north hollywood. traffic on the 134E is relatively light heading into glendale in the morning; pretty wide open east of I-5.

I would take Ventura Blvd all the way until I can get on the 134. Ventura blvd has three lanes so it reallly doesnt get much traffic.
