Not smog, just a thin marine layer

There was a For Rent sign on this unit earlier for a 1bed/1bath or it might have been a studio listed at over $3k/month.

cool thread, want to contribute. The only pictures I have on this computer are pretty crappy(it was my first digital point and shoot and I wasnt very interested in photography back then), but I'll post anyways.
I was like 17 or 18, and a friend and I went around town on the red line. These are from 5 years ago.

Broadway

Wilshire Center/K-town

Actually, these must have been from almost exactly 4 years ago....I think those banners on Amoeba are regarding the last election.....weird.

It was a beautiful day yesterday so we took the kids up to Los Angeles for an afternoon at the Getty Center and an evening in Santa Monica. We had a great time and the weather could not have been better. Everything was so clear and you could see Catalina crystal clear.

Westwood, Century City, and downtown (in the distance) skylines

Beautiful architecture and gardens

Looking out to the ocean. Catalina Island was really visible.

People enjoying the afternoon and the views on the grass

A friend and I went to see Coheed and Cambria in Hollywood for their 4-day Neverender concert at The Avalon (formerly The Palace). We took mass transit to save money on parking and gas - specifically the Metro Gold and Red lines from Pasadena to the Hollywood/Vine station...

The Capitol Records building across the street...

Coheed and Cambria...
