It says "Out Temple from courthouse", so the view is to the NW
from the SE part of Broadway and Temple. The street on the right is where the Santa Ana Freeway is now, and another 3000' or so up that will be the 4 level interchange. Northern part of Bunker Hill on the right. Circa 1901.

Officials of the College Board, the nonprofit organization that administers the SAT, dismissed suggestions by numerous high school guidance counselors that students were getting tired out by the new three-part test which now runs three and three-quarters hours, rather than three.

Gave me a good idea of la and around town. The really old apartment buildings, loved them and the faces of the people
were great.
