ahhhh i love this thread. my grandparents are from l.a. and my dad and his brothers and sister were born in and grew up there (30 years!). the older pictures give me an idea of what it was like for all of them.

Those are absolutely gorgeous, especially the sunset scenes. California really is a beautiful state. Great contrasts, too. |

@Jesse: I like the sense for composition and image depht in some of your photos. Some are too hazy for my taste, and some are cropped in an unattractive way. I like the sunset shots with the boats very much!

^^^I'm still a beginner. I just started doing real photography last year and this is my first DSLR. I plan to getter some more advanced lenses as I get more money. LOL.
