Lots of people around L.A. (especially in Hollywood and Venice Beach) try to sell you their music:
Famous Griffith Oberservatory....aka the building where the Transformers go to chill:
Love that roof:
It was Star Wars Celebration week in L.A. while I was there, so lots of these guys walking around the city trying to make a quick buck:
Vegas building a hotel Dubai??
Looking down on Hollywood with the Capital Records building right in the middle:
If you haven't been to Vegas, all along the strip there are these guys who try to hand you these little cards with phone numbers for "escort" services on them....and when you walk by these guys, they make a funny 'flicking' with the corner of the cards. Almost everywhere you walk, you will see the sidewalks littered with these cards.
This magican had this setup in front our hotel where he will stay in this box of ice for 24 hours and he will have four girls rotate every hour by standing beside him....this would be impressive in 0 degree temperatures in Toronto, but not 105 Fahrenheit temperatures.
Thank you so much for posting this. These are the realities that I love about the LA I've known my whole life. I hate a lot of people who have never lived in LA or are frequent visitors that make analysis (judgments) of the touristy parts as being unreal and or a fantasy and or that the people are not real. For all its good and bad I love LA and miss it a lot! Hope this post stays on top.
