Hello everyone,
just posting some pics that I took a while back. All the pictures were taken in downtown Los Angeles. They were all taken from my camera phone so they dont have the best quality but I hope you still enjoy them!

I really liked the old pictures of Los Angeles when they were doing contruction. I drive on that Pasadena Bridge everyday. It was nice seeing it when it was first built. Does anyone have any old pictures of the Los Angeles area? This is an awesome thread.

Go to the Los Angeles Public Library web page and click on Photo Database.

Also, try the CSUN San Fernando Valley Digital History Library.

Both have excellent, searchable databases of old photos.

the trolley is a big hit with the man tourists (unusual amounts of Asians, especially)

The FM is comprised of many older shops selling fresh produce, veggies, fruits, lemonade, etc




Live music seems to be a hit with the many hipsters nearby :notacrook:

Not as many taxis as NY, but we have some


P.S: The Brazilian food is A+

Me too! And as a young gun (25 years old) I really enjoyed looking at those old 1950s and 1960s photos. I try to imagine myself in them and how people were back then.
