Jail and fines obv...but remember there is no such thing as bad publicity. The more rediculous stuff you do the more famous you will be.

Yes that's a very interesting point you made . That's how Paris Hilton got so famous but I'm actually talented.
Is it easy to make friends in L.A. ? What are the people like ?

First step is to get the producer in the UK involved, and ask him to introduce you to people who might like to work with you - now - before you get to LA. If you have some projects planned before you get here, then it will be obvious where you need to live.

For example, the generic answer would be to tell you to rent in Studio City or West Hollywood - but what if your producer friends introduces you to someone in Malibu and you decide to work together? The drive to Malibu every day would be hard, and unnecessary - since if you're working in Malibu, you would be best off living there too.

Best answer, once again, is to talk to your producer friend now, and get some introductions and start your networking that way. Trying to track celebrities down by appearing at the right bar is highly unlikely to work. And you already have an in. Your friend, and his friends, should be your first step, if you're serious.

And don't pay the paparazzi!

There are places on the web where you can find that info - but if you have a friend who can introduce you, that is a much better way to make contact. Hoping you catch some guy's eye because your dress is super short, rarely works, unless you're just looking for a night of fun.

They most likely just ignore you, until you give them a reason not to. The crowd you want to hang with is used to wannabees everywhere, wanting to join them - and they let people in all the time. but there are two reasons - one is that they see you for what you really are, and want to work with you and be around you - they want to be friends. OR - they want a night of fun, and will lose your phone number the next day.
Thanks a lot , so sweet of you to share all this info with me Could you name me a couple of great sites with celebrity and club info? x
