Hollywood Dell info? (best neighborhoods, homes, neighborhoods)

I am looking into different place to live in hollywood, and would really appreciate any and all information available on the Hollywood Dell.

I haven't found much info, other than it's in the hills just above Hollywood.

Very nice and beautiful area in the Eastern Hollywood Hills. Loaded with great pre-WW2 Spanish/Moorish type architecture. Driving around there can produce fantasies of one being Bogart playing Philip Marlowe going to check up on some rich guy's scandalous daughter. Quite expensive.

Pretty much like the rest of the Eastern Hollywood Hills and the Los Feliz Hills/Franklin Hills. A remaining slice of the L.A. that people used to dream about moving to.

Hollywood Dell has GORGEOUS homes...lots of Spanish Revival and some Craftsman. Many consider HD one of the best neighborhoods in the country. The location can't be beat and as a result lots of celebs and industry professionals call this gorgeous neighborhood home. Also consider Whitley Heights/Camrose which are just west of Hollywood Dell. Whitley Heights was home to many silent film stars (as was Hollywood Dell).
