LA like any large metro area has a good helping of all types of women. especially since women come from all over the world to try to "make" it here.

They're liberal, opinionated, and a great deal of them a chock full of STD's.

There are certain areas here in SoCal where women are better looking than others. For instance, I used to work in Thousand Oaks (which I hated) but lived and owed property in Sherman Oaks (which I love). I would go to the T.O. mall to shop or have lunch, then when I got home, my wife would often drag me to Fashion Square in S.O.

After much comparison between the two, it hit me - Thousand Oaks women were more likely to be overweight, sun fried with dry leathery skin, dried out over processed hair, very red-necky cigarette smoking and just no where near as attractive as the women you see in Sherman Oaks. S.O. women where more likely to be fit, have beautiful hair, skin, much more bubbly and personable, non smokers and seem to genuinely care about their appearance.

So, from what I've seen, on a scale of 1-10 of the women you'd see in the two areas my scores are as follows:

Average Thousand Oaks woman - 5
Average Sherman Oaks woman - 9

I'll probably lose some reputation points for that last post there. But if anyone doubts what I am saying I suggest you conduct a field experiment and visit the make up and cologne sections at Macys in both malls.

In Thousand Oaks you'll see employees who look like Fergie Arthur (Anna Nicole's mom), Ann Coulter, Leona Helmsley, Rumor Willis and Mrs. Roper from Threes Company. Ugh.

In Sherman Oaks you'll see employees who look like Katharine McPhee, Aishwarya Rai, Jessica Alba, Portia DeRossi and Edyta Slewenska from Dancing With The Stars.

Give me my Sherman Oaks every time. Thousand Oaks s u c k s!!

I just came back from Hawaii and average weight for a woman there has to be about 275. Comparatively speaking, all the women here are tall, skinny and blonde with big boobs...and rich...and under 35.

Interesting. Hawaii shows as second leanest.

Mississippi repeats as fattest state, Colorado as leanest (CalorieLab Calorie Counter News)

Alabama has highest obesity rate, Colorado lowest (http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=55837 - broken link)

Based on looks, the average girl in LA is a 9.

Based on personality and charm, I'd rather not say. It's not so much that the number is really low but that it's not fair to the number to associate it with girls this worthless.

I personally care a lot about who a girl is, so basically I only date foreign girls.

My neighbor married a nice Oriental and he seems happy. I find most native L.A. women to be rather obnoxious and annoying.
