i would choose compton. i can see it becoming nicer in a few decades since it's so close to the beach. i rode the metro one day and was nervous coming into Comtpon area, but once there, didn't feel unsafe at all. going through watts, thats a different story. i scared outta my mind. never been to N. LB though, just heard it was bad.

I would live in None of the above. If it came down to those choices, I would buy a mobile home and live somewhere else entirely.

I have some relatives in Compton and North Long Beach. When I was attending UCLA I used to visit them on weekends. It wasnt that bad actually. But then Im from East Oakland so maybe my eyes werent as virginal as most others. LOL

I've paid my dues in areas that are developing & challenged. I don't want to do it again. I am one of these dreamy, hippie, do-gooder types who believes that good people need to be willing to move to challenged areas to help lift up those who are struggling. BUT, I just don't want to be the one - not now - not at this stage of my life. I need a little "peaceful easy living". PULEEZ...
So, I pick Culver City or the adjacent areas that are nice & not so challenged.
