Default What ever happened to Lindy Pens?

I was remembering the much-loved Lindy Pens when I was a kid. I know that the company was owned by Sidney Linden. Did they vanish after his death, or something like that?

Found it in 11 seconds: "George’s blog says that Lindy pens were popular in the 1950s-1970s but a lot of them were not refillable and thus didn’t make it to the 21st century. The company went out of business in the 1990s. "

That seems silly. Most cheap ballpoints aren't refillable, but people still use them.
