^Calabasas? Where is that from? That's a super family friendly city in the suburbs

Generally wealthy singles want to live in a neighborhood that is a mix of upscale and luxurious but also active with lots of bars, clubs, restaurants within walking or short driving distance. So this gives us:

Santa Monica (particularly around Downtown and Main St)
West Hollywood
Lofty part of Downtown LA
Brentwood
The nice part of Venice Beach
Mid-City West
Studio City
The Beach Cities (but a bit more family oriented)

You'd have better luck in TO or Castaic.

Both DTLA and Studio City were mentioned.

You'll have to take your West LA hatred elsewhere.
