Default Good and Bad parts of L.A

k im interested in l.a but i have no idea really where to go.

what are parts to stay away from and parts that are good to get around in?

van nuys?

The beach areas are good to go around, if you go from Santa Monica and then go directly inland towards Hollywood this area is good too as you go through West Hollywood and Beverly Hills and other nice areas.

Van Nuys? There is one are of Van Nuys thats really nice. Its Bordered by Victory Blvd. to the south, 405 to the west, Vanowen to the North, and Sepulveda Blvd. to the east. About 6 square blocks. I think its called Van Nuys Estates because all of the homes are large, very clean and built on what seems to be at least 20,000 square foot lots. Other than that area, Van Nuys really isnt the most desirable of cities.
