Temporarily moving to Inglewood, possibly..
I may be moving to Inglewood from San Diego.
I used to live in los angeles, but im not familiar with Inglewood well.
But the area's i've seen...i dont don't like (around market st. / some store called buylow / the cemetery)
But the area that i'm looking at is W. Buckthorn. 600/700 block.
Yes, I know there is ghetto, crime and gangs almost everywhere but I would like to know if its REALLY bad, like...compton or watts..etc.
Thanks.

Why exactly do you have to move to Inglewood? If you're working there, there's plenty of nearby safer areas.

Why would you consider Inglewood over the other surrounding areas? Will you be working in Inglewood?

Inglewood is one of the most dangerous, crime ridden parts of the L.A. metro area. Gardena is a little mellower and Hawthorne is Beverly Hills compared to Inglewood. Don't do it. There's no good reason to move to Inglewood unless you're in a gang. They've all been relocating there as other areas get gentrified.

WTF are you talking about?! El Segundo is an extremely upscale, family friendly, rich-ass beach city! Don't even try comparing Inglewood to El Segundo.
About Carson-I would rather live there than Inglewood, just make sure it's near the Torrance area or the W/SW area b/c NE side is Compton. Gardena, Lawndale, and Hawthorne are others to check out, but stay as far west as you can in all of those.
