GoogleMaps
Hey everyone. In doing some research for my move to LA, I have been checking out the Street View portion of googlemaps. I was hoping to get an overview of what different neighborhoods looked like. My question is, how old are these images? Anyone know? I'd hate to be expecting one thing, and it looks completely different!! Haha.
Also, anyone know anything about Cerittos? Nice place?
Thanks in advance!

The images are pretty recent but they don't really paint that good of a picture of an area. I've used it in areas I'm familiar with and hardly recognized the area. There's just no substitute for being there.

I guess the problem is that its a 2d image of a single slice in time at that location. Its really hard to get a good perspective on the area from that. Just drive around randomly and you'll learn pretty quickly what areas are undesirable and which areas go on the "maybe" list. Cerritos isn't a bad area. Lots and lots of suburban tract homes.

Gotcha! My only problem is that I won't be there long, so its gonna be tough to check out everything I need to.
