Who lit the match? Dorner or LAPD ?

Probably (not confirmed yet, though) tear gas canisters from the police. That does it every time.

I doubt anyone believes that anymore. There have been too many of these types of incidents where a fire ends up destroying the structure. Most people who follow these stories know it's caused by the cops. Even my cop friends admit to it.

Well, I was right about two things.
He was still in the mountains, and he put a bullet in his head before the police could.
Bob.

I didn't look back in the thread but I did remember someone had guessed it pretty close, hehe.

No one is fooled.

SOP for a barricaded person without hostages in the LAPD is to negotiate.

It was clearly a hit. They went in hard and fast and burned that cabin down to the ground.

Of course, that's what happens when you shoot gang members. Their buddies get you back. Oh, I mean cops. Cops, not gang members...

Not sure I'd call it a "hit," but I'm 99.9% sure they weren't going to give this guy a chance to escape again.

Now I'm hearing reports that a body has not been found and no one has entered the cabin because it's still too hot.

I spent a week snowboarding up there in Big Bear with my friends last month and we rented a cabin. I think we would have been terrified if this was going on while we were there lol.
