It's somewhat confusing because the station is named "Sierra Madre Villa"--but it's not in Sierra Madre.

It's still basically the same general area, regardless.
Got it, thanks. Would explain why I some listings on the internet labeling that immediate area as Pasadena. Still, I think the foothill areas look great.

Not quite sure why the last poster drug this thread up again, but I certainly can comment on Sierra Madre. No, we didn't live there, but we lived in Hastings Ranch when I was in my mid teens. We went to church in Sierra Madre. What a wonderful little town. The only draw back for some is, they are part of the Pasadena School system or were. Too bad they can not join the Arcadia school district.

Is there anything exciting about Sierra Madre? Nope, they do not have an Arboretum like Arcadia or the race track, but it is a beautiful little community with a wonderful view of the mountains. Why wouldn't it have a beautiful view, it is right against them. They don't really need a mall or anything special. Anyone living in the town can get anything they want within about 10 minutes.

What's unusual about Sierra Madre is that it has no traffic signals.

At least according to Wikidpedia. I've never been to Sierra Madre, so I can't say for sure.

It doesn't have or need any.
