Avoid a store called curacao. there way over priced as i paid 400.00 more for the same stereo if i was to buy it else where. i got the number for the customer retention dept and i have been calling for a week and all i get is an answering service and no one calls back. funny how that works. i asked em they they would match the price off sonys website after calling the credit dept at my local store and the lady said they would. so she looks my stereo on sonys website and there it was 400.00 cheaper than what there charging for it. the she prints it up and brings it to the store manager and he refuses to match the price off sonys website. after the customer retentin dept said they would match the price of there website icuracao for 799.99 im still waiting for that call. run like hell from the place!!

Did they hold a gun to your head and made you buy the stereo that you later found a better price for?

Can't you return it, get your money back and then go to the Sony store and get the price you want?

Do they have a "match best price" policy? What is the return policy on the receipt? If there are none, it's your own fault for being lazy. If you paid with a credit card, you could try to dispute the charge.

No one wants to hear that when they're pissed off.

This is why whenever I make a major purchase, I shop around.

I'll even use my phone to look up results on Google Shopping while I'm there. It's happened before that I realized I was about to drop a few hundred dollars more than market for something, and other times that I was actually looking at a really, really good deal.
