Texas Mexican food tastes like upscale Taco Bell. It is very salty and lacks the variety of flavors found in Californian Mexican food.

Texans like to talk loud while holding onto their huge belt buckles. But yeah, all talk. Everything is better there, haven't you heard??? And if you dispute it, they'll argue with you...

DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS!!!!, cause if you do, you'll have to hear them talk about why you shouldn't.

And as for me, I like California's Baja-style Mexican food better than Tex-Mex.

Cali Mex is bland. Taco Bell is actually better than most Cali Mex I've eaten out here. Taco trucks and authentic restaurants are decent, but still don't hold a candle to TexMex. I can't wait to get back to Dallas for the holidays so I can go to Herrera's. I'm drooling.
