Hi, I was thinking of buying a condo...upper limit $300k. I'm gonna be working in Glendale, but I don't want to buy in the Valley.

In future I may change jobs and work in the south bay or the west side. Where's a good place to buy, where all of these places are a commutable distance..where I can drive there in an hour or less?

Is Los Feliz a good place to buy? Downtown? Culver City?

Try downtown. You can get a condo there for your budget, and it will be accessible to pretty much anywhere in the future.

In the short-term, Glendale is a very easy commute (not more than 15 minutes each direction) from downtown.

I would recommend the north side of Glendale, or Montrose. Generally quiet areas and safe. N of 210 is a great area.
