A footlong at Subway. I only give that answer because it's a very specific sandwich which Subway carries and there's bound to be one close to wherever you are

Ooooooooo girl you need to go to Langer's Deli in the MacArthur Park/Westlake district. Last time I was in there I had the pastrami on rye. It was so good. Its been around for decades. Surprisingly, there are quite a few great delis in the Los Angeles area.

IF you're anywhere near downtown Riverside area, you cannot beat D'Elia's Grinders on University ave. Since I left CA. 3 years ago, not a week goes by I don't whine that I cant get any ever again. Their bread is baked on site and like no other, its crispy. You'll think there's not much meat on it, but they're perfect and very reasonably priced, $5 when I left. Why they haven't become a chain I'll never know, they're in my top 5 of favorite foods, period.

It depends on where you're at in LA and how long of a drive you want to take.
