palm square is in west hollywood on a nice street that gets an unusual amount of traffic for a residential street because it has through access between sunset and santa monica. i used to live on the same block, and recognize it from the photo.
villa careena is in west hollywood proper as well. it's managed by the same company as my previous residence.
90046, 90048, and 90069 are all west hollywood zip codes. 90069 is exclusive to weho; 90046 and 90048 capture the adjacent areas of (western) hollywood and the neighborhood surrounding the beverly center (part of which is LA, not weho), respectively. unless you have a reason for wanting to live in and only in the city of west hollywood, these areas are worthy of consideration as well, as they have similar demographics and rental housing stock. in general, rents in 90046 are slightly cheaper than the other two zip codes.

Okay so the first one is in a good area? The rent isn't bad. It's hard to choose because 300 more and you could be in WeHo proper. Palm Sqaure apts look great. I love the amenities like the nice fitness room.

yes, it's fine, with the aforementioned caveat. what about weho proper is worth the extra money to you when the adjacent los angeles neighborhoods are equally attractive? (if you're gay, it won't matter. this part of town is very gay-friendly.)

I am gay; thats one of the reasons I like going to WeHo so much. It seems the most gay friendly but maybe I'll try the others aswell. How far would I be from West Hollywood proper? Is it like a 5 min drive? If so thats close enough for driving to the stores and night spots, ect. I'll probably pick the first one. I will be moving with a room mate who is family so the space things isn't a big deal. With a rent of that much it will be about 500 even. Not bad, not bad at all. I looked up the address on google maps and it seems to be close enough to WeHo if not in WeHo. It seems like a great choice.

i don't know which "first one" you mean anymore. the palm square property is a block up the street and and around the corner from RAGE. you can't get any more west hollywood than that.
sunset laurel plaza is about the same distance away from the french quarter market. again, the heart of west hollywood.
i guess it comes down to which side of la cienega you prefer. do you want to walk to breakfast, or to nightclubs?

Driving to nightclubs is okay. I'll pick the Sunset Plaza one.

The parts of 90046 and 90048 that are in L.A. city limits (known as the Fairfax District) can be right across the street or on the same block as parts of those zip codes that are in the city of West Hollywood. The boundaries are rather confusing, and there's little difference between being on one side of the boundaries or the other.

Thanks. Saving money would help if it's so close theres no reason not to pick it.

According to Terroni, its new restaurant is in "the heart of West Hollywood" at Beverly and Curson. It's not, of course, which shows how fluid (and somewhat irrelevant) the WeHo/Fairfax/Mirace Mile North boundaries are.
