Where do 20's & 30's Black singles hang out?

Los Angeles is so spread out it can be difficult to meet people. Looking for some cool places other than Magic Johnson Friday's. :-)

Thanks!

Alot of singles hang out in Leimert Park. A cool, hip area with lots of things to do!

Leimert Park is cool! Definitely give that a try. Also, try the Marina. Very clubby, Cheesecake Factor-y, but if that's your thing, hey it could be fun! Also, the Hughes Center for movies.

I see blacks all over. But I agree that the Marina and the Promenade at the Howard Hughes Center might have a good concentration. Grand Lux Cafe at the Beverly Center also gets a goodlooking black crowd among people of other races, ethnicities too.

Here's a "spiritual" option for you. There is Agape International Spiritual Center

They have a very active Singles Ministry that happens to do movie get-togethers with lunch & such at the Promenade (HHC) - as well as many other things too.

Check out their site - unless you are simply opposed to anything spiritual all-together - you should find something to your liking there. in Culver City is pretty happening (in my mind at least). A great place to meet all sorts of folks. The array of fine people of all ethnicities (including African American - actually in sizable numbers too) is staggering. Most especially for someone who's living in the Twin Cities (as I am). I LOVE it there.
