Nope. I'm working two jobs (part-time) now AND have a roommate. It's helping me to save money to leave.

I'm not as pissed off about LA like I used to be. It's amazing how having better finances changes your outlook on things. Still don't want to live here though. The jobs I have are retail and I want to work them long enough to where I can transfer to another city next year.

Well, I'm glad to hear that you are not as pissed off as before. Being so angry can be a hazard to one's health. I agree that better finances can indeed change one's perspective on things, and if your financial picture continues to improve, I suspect you will still be in LA next year and the year after that.

It takes time for a new place to grow on you and LA can be hard to leave, especially when things are good.

Just curious, where are you thinking about going after LA?

'now that the mayor has put his pants back on'

Those pants won't stay on for long. I'm sure he'll find another mistress soon.
