Default health and air pollution smog

anyone have trouble with dry throat on smoggy days. I wonder what the effect of breathing the terrible air in Southern California is on all of us. Does anyone know if we have a higher rate of cancer than other cities/states?

Not anymore especially compared to the 1960s and 1970s.

I'm 3rd generation and the only cancer we had was my grandfather who smoked 5 packs a day. Everyone else mostly lives into their 80's and 90's. I remember some effects from smog in the 70's but that was the last time.
