I'm a 19 year old planning a big move to los angeles to pursue an acting career basically trying to make it "big". I want to be in the performing arts industry. Please give me a list of reasonable safe places to live in LA. let me start by saying I am moving by myself no roommate. I have already saved up money and will be transferring to a Hooters out there or a different waiting job. anything $700-900 i will be willing to pay for. no locations in east los angeles. I just need a location not to far from auditions and where theres lots of events stores and fun areas near by. i have a car so that is a plus. i just need to find a safe resonable place to live and hopefully theres a hooters near by for work

your budget will get you a 1br, but more likely a studio in a relatively crummy part of town. good luck with that!

$700-900 will get you a studio in a poor area. I'm paying roughly $800 a month in a decent area, but with a roommate - 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.

You don't look for a roommate to move with you. You look for a roommate on, say, Craigslist in Los Angeles. You can't afford to live alone. You need to be more flexible.

Hi, I am trying to move ther myself if you are serious about finding a roommate. I'm 26 and I live in Virginia. When are you planning to move there? I know you aren't trying to meet one online but realistically its hard trying to move out there on your own. I have graduated with my masters in Teaching. Have a full time job, female and I visitied LA this past fall and fell in love.
