New Year's Eve with teenagers
Hi,
I am new to LA and would appreciate any suggestion for family oriented (two teenagers) New Year’s Eve celebration events/locations in or around LA.
Thank you!

I couldn't tell you any hangout spots, but I could suggest some places to go see views of fireworks all across the LA Basin. Would that help at all?

The Queen Mary in Long Beach. They have a celebration that I would call "family friendly" for someone with teenagers. You need to buy tix ahead of time, though, so you'd have find their website to book it.

Stay home. There are too many drunk drivers on New Years' Eve.

You could take them to Universal City Walk. They do enforce curfew laws (10:00 p.m. for anyone under 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian), but it might be a good place to hang out.

Pasadena, on the parade route. I've heard there are people out through the night and it kinda turns into a block party.
