Signal Hill Info
looking for any info on the area right off the 405 between Cherry and Orange, we are looking at a property on Falcon ave that seems like a great deal. It looks very family oriented and no bars on windows, etc. Is there something we might be missing here?
Any info is much appreciated

Personally, I'd stay away from it. Is it off of PCH? If so, stay clear. Further up the Hill, more towards Willow and the Police Department is decent.

It is actually right off of the 405, north of PCH and south of the 91. I don't think it is close to Compton at all. It is actually just a block away from California Heights and really close to the Boeing building (and yes, very close to the airport as well). We've been there a few times, both in the daytime and evening, and it looks pretty quite. I did see a few airplanes take off but it wasn't terribly loud, although this may be the reason why the house is so cheap.

Signal Hill is decent. There are some million dollar homes being built there.
