Here in Indiana we have Mental Health Facilities that help you get your meds and/or counciling if you don't make alot of money. It's funded by rich people who donate and I think the state may help too. I was wondering if theres any such thing in the L.A. area??? I'm only on 1 medication and it's just for S.A.D. and the doctor thinks I wont need it in L.A. (theres actually sunlight there) but I'd still like to see someone from time to time if it's available. Even if it's not "in" L.A. I would be willing to make a commute. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I really can't answer your question outright.

But FYI, a lot of employers have adjunct mental health benefits. For example, in addition to BCBS or Kaiser there is some sort of mental health wellness program. If you are now employed or when you become employed be aware that these benefits may exist.

Also have a look at the California Health and Human Services Agency.
