Glendale, South Pasadena, Downtown Los Angeles, Silverlake, Los Feliz. How big does the place need to be? I can do some research for you.

Requirements are simple. It should be daily commutable to both westwood LA and duarte on a daily basis. We would initially want to rent a place about 2-3 bedrooms/2 baths.Which area(s) would be suitable?
Thanks a lot for your advice.

Can you clarify "600$$-800$$"?
$600-800/mo won't rent anything.
$600k-$800k will buy an OK house in most places.

Oh. I thought the 600-800 was in thousands to purchase a home. If you mean for rent, it's impossible to get even a 1 bed anywhere in LA for that price. You'd have to settle for a crappy studio in a bad area.

you must be thinking I am out of this planet.I don't expect to rent a home in this price range.I meant buying a house between 600-800 thousand. But thanks for clarifying. However rent money not being a consideration which areas would be a daily practical commute and safe to live in between the two places.
thanks again.

Pasadena, Glendale, Silverlake, Los Feliz, and Downtown Los Angeles are the places you should look at.
