Hey everyone! Hope you're all well!

I'm planning on moving to Korea Town and I'm looking to get a place around the heart of it. Around the Wilshire/Normandie metro station preferably/in between 3rd & 6th street. Or by the Wilshire/Vermont station too. Does anyone have any suggestions on apartment complexes or streets to look into? Referrals of any kind are greatly appreciated!

I'm looking for a two bedroom for just myself and another, as well as a small dog. From personal experience, I'd rather rent from an owner rather than leasing company. Monthly rent to be $1400-1500 or below. Sqft not extremely tiny. Nothing too fancy as I am trying to save and live by my means. Not so highrise but more so apartment home/town home type if possible. I am sure I may need to go further from the stations for these preferences.

Any apartment names, specific streets to look at or whatever you suggests is best, please let me know. All your replies really mean alot. First time moving to LA and just started a new job aside of handling all the stress, I'm sure you know how tough apartment hunting can be.

You're all awesome! Thanks and all love!!!!

I was here for a long while. Versailles Koreatown Apartments - 918 S. Oxford Ave - Los Angeles - EquityApartments.com

Every apartment has issues so of course there's bad reviews here and there. But this one has nice high ceilings, hard flooring, underground parking, and a nice gym.

looking at your budget, though...u probably have to look elsewhere

You'll find plenty of apartments within your budget. They just won't be the newer buildings. There are lots of old buildings in Ktown with bare bones amenities and thus rents aren't super high like they are in a lot of LA.

I'd check around streets like Kenmore, Catalina, Berendo, Alexandria. Anywhere between 3rd and 6th. Once you go above 3rd it gets a little sketchy.

However a lot of the properties are owned by leasing companies.
